KillSpam Terms of Service

Effective date: October 7, 2026

  1. Service. KillSpam lets you review comments on your own YouTube channel and change their moderation status in bulk using the YouTube Data API. It also lets you review comments on your own Instagram professional account and hide or delete them using the Instagram API.
  2. YouTube terms. KillSpam uses YouTube API Services. By using KillSpam you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Our Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy also apply.
  3. Instagram terms. If you connect Instagram, your use is also subject to the Instagram Terms of Use and the Meta Platform Terms.
  4. Your channel only. You may connect only YouTube channels and Instagram accounts you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for the moderation actions you choose to apply.
  5. Your rules. Spam detection rules are configured by you. KillSpam does not guarantee that flagged comments are spam. Rejected comments cannot be restored to "published" through the YouTube API, and deleted Instagram comments cannot be restored, so review carefully. "Hold for review", "Hide", and "Dry run" modes are provided to reduce mistakes.
  6. Browser extension and accounts. The KillSpam browser extension finds and deletes comments on pages you open while signed in to YouTube or Instagram yourself. Its AI check needs a KillSpam account (one per person), has a daily limit that we may change, and gives a probability, not a verdict: you decide what to delete, and deleted comments cannot be restored. Keep your password to yourself. You can delete your account at any time from the extension.
  7. KillSpam for Mac and subscriptions. KillSpam for Mac finds and deletes comments on pages you open in the app while signed in to YouTube or Instagram yourself; collecting, rule checks, and deleting are free. Its AI check requires an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple and is limited to a daily number of comments per subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple account; the subscription renews automatically at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it in your Apple account's subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple. AI results are probabilities, not guarantees; review comments before deleting them, because deleted comments cannot be restored. YouTube and Instagram may limit accounts that act too quickly; use the app at your own discretion.
  8. Web subscriptions and payment. The AI check can also be bought on the web as a KillSpam AI subscription (monthly, 6 months or yearly) at the prices shown on our Pricing page. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our web orders and provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns; the Paddle Buyer Terms also apply to those orders. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price at the end of each period until you cancel; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow our Refund Policy (full refund within 14 days of your first purchase).
  9. Acceptable use. Do not use KillSpam to harass, to circumvent YouTube policies, to circumvent Instagram policies, or to exceed API quotas, or to get around the AI check limit, for example by creating several accounts or automating requests to our server.
  10. Availability. The service is provided "as is" without warranty. YouTube and Instagram API limits may restrict how many actions can be performed per day.
  11. Termination. You can stop using KillSpam and delete your data at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend access for misuse.
  12. Liability. To the extent permitted by law, KillSpam is not liable for indirect damages or for comments moderated according to your selections.
  13. Changes. We may update these terms and will post the new version here.
  14. Operator and contact. KillSpam is operated by Public Filca Inc.
